For me this takes me back to when our only way of finding out about basses and gear was to read reviews in mags. I used to collect them, keep them and use for reference when i fancied another bass. I had a few subscriptions to motorcycle mags but they went all online. I've never read any since. Its just not the same as having a mag in your hand. Such a great idea and wish you all the very best with it. Dave Hi Dave, The reality is that lots of people still value a printed mag (including me) I've spent a lifetime making magazines and they are still so important for so many people - print will never die! Unlike the last owner of Bass Guitar Magazine we can operate on much smaller margins and hopefully we can make this work. 2 1 Quote

jazzyvee Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I wish you all the best with this venture. I stopped buying guitar and bass magazines many years ago as whenever I picked one up in WH Smiths to check out, they seem to be mainly be focussed on instruments and gear and musicians on the rock side of music and very little else. I do understand that is the big market for bass and guitars, though I would be interested in seeing if this one offers something for those of us outside that genre. So I will wait till some reviews appear here before jumping in to subscribe. All being well i'll be at the guitar show so will pop by the stand for a chat. Edited 3 hours ago by jazzyvee Quote

Absolutely agree with your sentiment and we will be covering artists and gear across all genre so that there is something in there for everyone. Come and chat to me at the show and let me know who you would like to see in there and we will do our very best. 1 Quote
