Very cool (to me) and a further demonstration that tort goes with everything! Where did the body acquire its orange sparkle? Custom refinish?

Yes done by Bow Finishing. The finish is absolutely flawless but they’re not cheap. I had a P body in Tidepool and really couldn’t gel with it, so got this done. Also bought a loaded pickguard from an American Professional II and a Mexican neck, Hipshot tuners. Only fiddly bits were cutting the nut slots and soldering in the two ground wires.
