How do i open the comments up to read the full comment on the Status Updates Section of BC. ?

Clicking the date or the "x replies" works for me in Chrome on Win 11, and in Chrome on an Android 16, so I guess it normally works.

I'm still confused by folk mistaking the status updates section for private messaging.

Someone, don't remember who, explained this a few weeks ago: on people's profile page, there's a field for sending them a public message. I gather people have no idea whatsoever that this means the message becomes a status update (it doesn't say that it does), and that they also do not contemplate the meaning of the word "public".

Oh-Ar? In all of these years being on BassWorld and BassChat, I've never seen that! 🤣 Blimey! I'm losing my edge! I shall seek out this public messaging function! Thank you!

I've really no idea what its for but i see the occasional comment that i'd like to read the full thing but can't.

Yeah, for me too, but I do get worn out teaching 50,000 members all day.

I dont see the point of the whole Status malarky.  A waste of real estate IMO

I'm kinda with you. I never really saw the point of it and usually just ignored it hoping it would go away but thought i should ask the question just in case i need it. 😂
