Overwaters are my all time favourites and I have played many brands since '75.

The way the grain has played out on that tummy cut is very pleasing.

I can’t decide what to do regarding fretboard markers. I’m looking at dots or hollow blocks like these or maybe just have no markers at all.

The wood is looking so good, why bother? A double bass with dots/blocks would look... strange? Luminous side dots is another story.
