Peavey USA Gbass

35" scale 4 string bass plays amazing looks like a Modulus but at a fraction of the cost.

In my opinion, the G-bass is the most underrated bass Peavey has ever made. Professional quality, Made in USA, killer 18v electronics, Gotoh hardware, hipshot tuners.

This is the later version with the composite not carbon (modulus made) earlier version but don't let that put you off these are incredible basses.

Sounds and plays great will be sorry to let it go but needs must.

35" scale

1.5" nut

3 band EQ.

18v electronics

Roughly 3.7kg

Sparkle finish

Great condition

 gig bag

Any questions feel free to ask

Pretty certain this is a carbon/graphite neck, just not made by Modulus like the earlier ones?

Always wanted one of these, lovely looking bass.

I have heard a couple of things seem to remember someone saying it was just a change in colour in the lacquer so still is a carbon wrap and then others say its more like a phenolic material but either way they are great necks

You're confusing the G-Bass with the B-Quads.

Neither the G-bass nor the G-V had carbon graphite necks, it's a slimmer maple core with a carbon wrap.

My old pal Ronnie was still chief engineer for Peavey when the necks got shipped to Bell and Carlson for wrapping.

Don't believe I am, different colour but the necks on the earlier ones looked like the one on Reverb here: https://reverb.com/item/48796534-peavey-g-bass-green-sparkle

Definitely carbon, I thought the later ones were carbon too but painted, not sure though!  The manual also confirms carbon necks.
