soulstar89 Posted Monday at 21:15 Posted Monday at 21:15 (edited) Hey peeps. Newbie question. my misses plays piano and obviously I play bass. I wonder could we hook both instruments to a mixer and plug two sets of headphones into it so we can both listen to each other while playing? If so any recommendations? My amp is at mine and tbh i don’t want to keep bringing amp over. Never used a mixer before but when I asked about playing silently with a amp that doesn’t have a headphone and aux out, people suggested a mixer cheers Edited Monday at 21:19 by soulstar89 Quote
SimonK Posted Monday at 21:26 Posted Monday at 21:26 Probably a bit of an overkill but this is cool: https://www.roland.com/us/products/hs-5/ Quote

Bigguy2017 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago If you have a bass preamp or amp with a line level out you only need a headphone amp with two inputs Behringer Miniamp 800 V2 - Andertons Music Co. 2 Quote
nekomatic Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I think the short answer is ‘yes’ and pretty much any mixer should do the job. The only issue would be that the mixer probably only has one headphone output so you won’t be able to control your headphone levels separately. I noticed there are currently a couple of Yamaha SessionCakes going in the ‘accessories for sale’ section here. I haven’t used these but as I understand it you can link two or more of them together so each person has their own headphone output - that might do what you want? And they’re not expensive. 1 Quote

Hey, I have a MLD bass pre amp. I normally have it in my bass bag but don’t bring it. I’ll have to look what it has. The misses has a Yamaha p-225. thanks for the link, I will look into it Quote
