Restarts did nothing for the last 2 months, inc creating new scenes and then doing a wipe/factory reset; it took a new download/upload of the same Firmware. The alternative was send back to GuitarGuitar for them to send back to A&H and be without a mixer for weeks. Quote
nilebodgers Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I have just got a CQ-18T and I am impressed. I worked in pro audio for years before I retired, so have a lot of experience of larger scale digital, but this little thing is very capable. I’d have killed to have something like this when I got started doing band sound in the mid 90’s! The only thing missing from my POV is subgroups with full eq for things like groups of lav mics, but I can live without and it would be a nice bonus if they add them in a firmware update. (Some flexible busses that could be either be an aux or a subgroup would be perfect) 1 Quote

Either the ability to un-route a channel from the LR mix (I.e. to fake a subgroup by feeding a post-fade aux into a spare channel) or a multifunction aux/subgroup implementation. I think the outcome is probably as much a marketing & product range segmentation issue as anything technical. Quote
Pirellithecat Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Very dull topic……… just bought a CQ18T. What do people put these on when mixing from a small stage? Be great to have a bit more space but with a dozen XLRs connected I need a stable stand for it. 😬 Quote

Pirellithecat Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Thanks for that I was rather worried that with the weight of all the cables something like this might be a little vulnerable to tipping over. Thought something with 4 legs might be required ....... But if something this simple does the trick ........ 👍 Quote
warwickhunt Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago I use one with no hassle; if all of the cable are coming from the back just be sure to place 2 of the 3 legs at the back. Quote
