Update: I unexpectedly received issue 13 today.  No sign of issue 12 of course.

Exactly the same thing has happened to me too

Same with me. No issue 12. I received issue 13 after emailing, but no issue 14 which is advertised on their website. Payments keep being taken. I’ve emailed them twice but no reply. I think I need to make a PayPal claim and get as many payments refunded as possible.

I started a subscription at The Bass Show in Birmingham and have yet to receive a single copy either in print or digitally - I have messaged Dan Edwin a number of times and he says it will get sorted but still no magazines at all.

I paid on credit card so will hopefully get a refund but it is truly shocking customer service, never seen anything so bad.

Actually got worse tbh

Shame cos it was a nicely produced mag.. Had a quality feel to it, glossy with excellent photography..

The reviews could have been better, and was a bit repetitive in the editorial,  but it inspired to look elsewhere for more detail.

Likewise. I've cancelled my sub and am going to look into recouping what I paid for the undelivered copies.

I literally have no idea what the point of a digital magazine is, when there are so many similar articles online to read for free.  But that's just me :)

I subscribed because it was a print, interestingly they said they could not send issue 12 out to me as they didn't have any in stock. However they said that to compensate they have given me access to all back issues so I can read it digitally. I totally agree that if it's online only I will just read free websites.

It is such a shame as the overall experience has been really poor, magazines not arriving and continuing to pay each month.

I have recouped the money for the issues that I have not received.

I have actually ordered the missing issue 12 from another website that sells magazines so hopefully I will have the full print collection.

Such a shame

Following on from this thread I have taken the brave decision to launch a new print and digital bass magazine for the UK market.

I've been publishing magazines in my day job for 27 years and think it's terrible that we don't have a dedicated magazine anymore.

We launch the mag officially at the Birmingham Bass & Guitar Show next month where we will have a small stand and giving away a sample issue (while stocks last) - we will then publish quarterly moving forward. Editor is Joel McIver who ran Bass Guitar magazine and then Bass Player so no cheap AI generated content here!

Website is here

You can subscribe via the website - our socials launch on Monday.

If you are at the show next month come and say hello - be nice to put faces to names. The cover of our sample issue is here for your thoughts and comments.

Amazing news! I’ll get subscribing! Is there a way to order the sample issue if we can’t attend the Birmingham show? Cheers! Andy
