Refurbing a Spector 6er

I have black knobs on order so that's only a temporary issue.

The machine heads were a set of 4x black/silver, 1x gold and 1x silver so not a theme as such. I've swapped out the odd gold for a silver and "matched" the scheme.

I'd like to find gold hardware to swap everything out for - bridge included.

Took the bass up to my electronics tech, Mal Crawford in Stevenage to have a look at the electronics. I'm pretty sure it's something really simple stopping the bass making any noise. Mal will spot it in no time but will taunt me about it forever...

How much disconnecting did you do to get the body stripped? Just pickups, or jack socket and battery clip too?
