Bit of controversy to start,however I can honestly say this is better than the more revered Japanese TRB5 I had a few years back....in every department! Proper jack of all trades, so many tones you can tease out and the action is wonderful! Apart from a few tiny depressions on the rear of the body this is near mint! Definitely prefer outright cash sale, but could be tempted be another 5'ver, maybe I'd scratch that 6 string itch again?: cash my way or I may add some for the right Bass? GoodOlJohnson Posted May 10, 2023 Share Posted May 10, 2023 The Yamaha TRB 1005s are some great 5 Strings. The 35 Inch Scale might need some getting used to, but these are built rock solid. Powerful preamp, super solid neck construction and a good alrounder. Long Sustain and great clarity on the notes aswell.
