  1. Curious, These pictures you're using are the exact same another user used in his offer a couple of months back.
  2. The Yamaha TRB 1005s are some great 5 Strings. The 35 Inch Scale might need some getting used to, but these are built rock solid. Powerful preamp, super solid neck construction and a good alrounder. Long Sustain and great clarity on the notes aswell. Super E and B string.
  3. I own exactly the same model. The build-quality of these are one of the best MiM P-Basses Fender built over the last years. The fretwork is flawless and you can achieve a really low action if needed. The neck is perfectly finished and feels great, but it's the fattest neck I know. The neck-body fitting is superb. And last but not least the tone of these basses is just phenomenal. If you are looking for a classic growling Precision-tone and great dynamics, this is it. Gotta say, this one rivals the US made instruments any day in terms of quality and sound. Really a bargain at this pricepoint.
  4. If you are looking for great vintage P-Bass tone - this is it, folks.
  5. Hey geezer, I was wondering; Since the TRB series often sports two single-coil pickups with one "ghost" coil to cancel hum - wich side are the active pickups on this one? Some models go with both hot coils pointing to the bridge. Other models have the bridge pickup's hot side to the bridge, and the neck pickup's side to the neck. Could you just check by tapping some metal on the connected bass and see wich side of the pickups are hot and what their position is?
