Don't know too much about these so took a punt on the price based on how it feels and plays. Which is pretty good for a budget bass made in China! Picked this up for free at the local tip and got to work cleaning it up and replacing the knobs on it. Electrics are sound and it's in very decent condition overall considering where I got it. Sounds like how I imagine a TBird should. Would make a great backup bass for anyone who uses these. It's long, it's heavy and it neck dives like no one's business but that's all part of the charm with these right?!

Collection preferred or will meet up a shortish drive from central Cardiff.

This is sooo tempting.  Tokai have a wonderful reputation and I've been thinking about trying out a Hardpuncher for years.  This though would tick off two boxes at once - Tokai and Thunderbird.

However, I have too many basses (apparently!) and I'd have to justify whether or not it would get much use, so I guess I'll have to pass this time.  If it's still available in the autumn (I hope not for your sake, and I can't see it not selling at this ridiculously low price), I'll be tempted again.

GLWTS (but I don't mean it!).

A T bird is one bass I've never, ever tried, purely as one's never been proffered, not even had a go of one in a guitar shop... surprising as I've been knocking about a fair while..

If you were around London I'd be most interested

Nor had I. Then a reasonably priced Epi Blackbird popped up.

Now restrung and suitably fettled, it's frighteningly good...
