GaryDay Posted April 2, 2023 Share Posted April 2, 2023 (edited) I got this tone monster in Philadelphia 2004 and started using it as my main bass up until the end of 2006. I used it for recording Morrissey - Ringleader of the tormentors (singles and b-sides) in Rome where Tony Visconti (who produced the album) kindly signed it. Also used for the live at Earls Court album and many videos and tv appearances. It plays and sounds fantastic! All original except the thumb rest which I added and is from an early 60’s p-bass, tone knob is missing. Plenty of life left in the original frets, straight neck and truss rod turns and original solder on the wiring. Lots of lacquer checking, chips and dings but no cracks, breaks or repairs. I don’t have an original case but can supply a later fender hard case. I have a 1974 Fender Telecaster Custom in a faded Mocha if that would be of any interest in a part trade let me know. I bought it from Curly music in Liverpool in 2016 but it is in London.
