This is part 2 of the "screw, fornicate, poo sunburst" series.

I bought a Stingray copy a few months back from Marcus Bell it was nice but it was Sunburst ERGH!!!! so I planned to paint it green but what with my old house having no room and me having no time I never got around to it until I moved a few weeks back.

Anyway it isn't finished but I thought I would put a sneak peak up.

It used to look like this.

It now looks like this.

Nine and apparently my last for a while but I have my eye on a P/J.

This one has a nice weight to it, I was surprised by the quality of the wood when I sanded it down.

hey i remember this bass///haha!!!

it has a great sound and feel to it actually i loved it for the period of time that i had it, and when i disconnected the tone wire it was a seriously good match for playing along with stingray tracks such as:
get on the floor by micheal jackson
thinking of you by chic
and the early chillis stuff...

looking better now though buddy keep up the good work...

Did you find any checkered knobs? (f'nar)
I tried looking for some checkered adhesive vinal, but ney no luck.
Nope still haven't found any :)

If I do start a shop I'm going to call it Bass Coat

This should really be in build diary thread but it's a bit late now.
Maybe the repairs and tech thread.
I sprayed my Ibanez Blazer sea foam green, when I was 18.
All I remember is, I loved the smell of the paint. :)

Subtle tones from a traditional looking , understated instrument.

F**k that for a game of soldiers. This is much more fun. Brilliant Wayne. Let those who thumb their noses stop a minute and realise that in this very visual game of gigging you'll be recognised and remembered from the individual look of your basses alone. Total thumbs up to you.
