I've had the bass a couple of years just done 1 gig with it so in excellent condition and plays sweet. Sire V5 is a light-weight bass guitar with a simpler bass setting. It gives a vintage sound that has a full, round, and dynamic tone. Leaps and bounds ahead of anything Mexican and could certainly hold its own against an American fender in terms of fit and finish.
