For @Barking Spiders and possible others, Dagny is another young Norse artist, here with orchestra.
Some cracking pop songs amongst those, IMHO.

If I understand correctly, this footage should play wherever you are.

Some very lovely, skillful arrangements going on there.

Aren't they just!
Of the songs I know, I tend to prefer this orchestra version above the album version.

Five people did these, and I notice that at least four of them compose, arrange and perform in several realms: classical, jazz and pop.
The last one, Thomas Kongshavn, is the guitar player and oft co-composer in Dagny's band. I don't know more of him.

In the unlikely case someone wants to know more about one or more of these composers/arrangers, here are their names:
1  Come over:   Petter Winroth

2  Backbeat:   Jan Martin Smørdal
3  Please look at me:   Aleksander Waaktaar (off.  Aleksander Sinding-Larsen Waaktaar)

4  Drink about:   Waaktaar

5  Bye Bye Baby:   Smørdal

6  Love you like that:   Winroth

7  Somebody:   Lars Andreas Aspesæter

8  Tension:   Winroth,   Thomas Kongshavn

9  Fool's gold:   Waaktaar
10  Coast to coast:   Aspesæter

New Corinne Baile… no honestly, come back: New Corinne Bailey Rae.

Try 'Erasure' (track 3) for example. It's not what you were expecting!

Yes, heard her new Punk incarnation on 6 Music a couple of weeks back. Not a fan, but fair play to her, especially after what she has been through.

I'm really liking this new tune from Bruce Dickinson … Rain on the Graves.

It's interesting I like this because for the most part I'm not an Iron Maiden fan, but I do like the Tattooed Millionaire album (excluding that All the Young Dudes cover, which I thought was awful) that Bruce did in the '90s.

Slash has a new album out soon, it's gonna be a blues covers album with one original song on it, and he's released a video for the first single, Killing Floor (YouTube link to video).

Album to be titled Orgy of the Damned, and will feature the following tracks, together with other artists performing on them …

1. The Pusher feat. Chris Robinson (Wayne Hoyt Axton)
2. Crossroad Blues feat. Gary Clark Jr (Robert Johnson)
3. Hoochie Coochie Man feat. Billy F. Gibbons (Willie Dixon)
4. Oh Well feat. Chris Stapleton (Peter Green)
5. Key to the Highway feat. Dorothy (Charles Segar, William Broonzy)
6. Awful Dream feat. Iggy Pop (Lightnin' Hopkins, Clarence Lewis, C Morgan Robinson)
7. Born Under a Bad Sign feat. Paul Rodgers (William Bell and Booker T. Jones)
8. Papa Was a Rolling Stone feat. Demi Lovato (Barrett Strong, Jesse Norman Whitfield)
9. Killing Floor feat. Brian Johnson, Steven Tyler (Chester Burnett)
10. Living for the City feat. Tash Neal, Jenna Bell, Jessie Payo (Stevie Wonder)
11. Stormy Monday feat. Beth Hart (T-Bone Walker)
12. Metal Chestnut (Slash)

If that track above is an indication of the overall quality of the album, I think I'm going to like this.

That's one hell of a line up.
