visog Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 This guy knows his way around the bass and his articulation in the examples is second to none! Enjoy... 1 Quote
BassBunny Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 He's a great player and a really nice person. Met him at one of the UK Bass Days where he was wandering round chatting to all and sundry after his session. Quote
Chris2112 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Absolutely fantastic player. He has been consistently excellent for many years now. I always love watching and listening to him. Quote
lowdown Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I didn't want to start yet another HF thread so I will use this thread. A couple of tracks with Hadrien using Jaco's Bass of Doom: 1 Quote
Hellzero Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago To me, Hadrien Féraud is better on the fretless as he's more expressive and less prone to show off. Thanks @lowdown for sharing these two videos that I saw when they were first released. Too bad I can't find a physical support of these sessions, a CD to put it simple... Quote

I found his phrasing is more lyrical. I've now started hunting for more of his fretless playing. Please post up anything you think might be worth a listen, HZ, because I haven't really heard much of his Fretless work. Edited 9 hours ago by lowdown Quote
Hellzero Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Not on fretless, but with the very difficult task to succeed Anthony Jackson with Hiromi and he's very good at it, too bad the end of the video is quite abrupt. 1 Quote
