either needs a shim - or there are no screws holding the neck on, relying on the overhang chocked on the plate!
and maye a drop of lemon oil or Hi Karate!

Poor P... Basschat - Never Puts a Bass Down...

It's good for them.

 

My second bass felt so easy to play after learning on an 'Axe' bass that had an action higher than that. I've never had that feeling on an instrument since, pure bloss.

 

I had forearms like Popeye too.

Axe basses! I haven't heard of them in years. I can remember one or two people buying the guitars.

It was actually not a bad instrument, yes the action was high, but being a complete newbie in the pre internet era I never realised I could have adjusted the BBOT bridge until many years later, so it was largely self inflicted.

Had to get the young ‘un back to school after, so no, but having shown mrs nekomatic the picture she’s passing it on to her contacts there!

 

Looked like a combo of neck angle, insufficient relief and a bizarrely high nut. It was a medium scale bass too so probably gets inflicted on the youngest and softest-fingered victims 😭
