I'm from Cambridgeshire and have lurked this forum on and off over the years, but thought I should start posting finally (after having created an account two years back it seems). I'd like to say I've been playing bass for over 15 years (I started late, I guess around 20 or so), but I've probably spent far more time pining after gear than actually practising. I'm definitely a Fender kind of bloke and all my experiments elsewhere have inevitably led me back to Leo's classic designs. Space and erm... spousal limitations mean I currently own just the one bass and amp - a 1993 MIJ Precision in 3TSB/rosewood/tort through an Orange Crush 100. I like to play anything with a lot of low end or drenched in fuzz. I'm also on a quest for a particular bass which I don't think I have much chance of finding, but will be posting a wanted soon just in case anyone here can help me out.
