petecarlton Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 I wanted a small cab to go with my tiny Gallien-Krueger MB200 head. Of course, I would have liked a Barefaced or a Phil Jones but, funds being what they were, I eventually opted for an Ashdown OR-110. Some of the usual suspects had this for around £280 or so (e.g. PMT £285) and it's listed on the Ashdown site at £295, but I found it on Musik-Produktiv in Germany at £169, including VAT and customs charges. My mate got a really good deal on a Rootmaster head (sold out now) and I was looking at a 300 watt OriginAL head for under £200! Teyeplayer Posted April 1, 2022 Share Posted April 1, 2022 My OR110 arrived on Wednesday, what a cracking little cab! Partnered with my Warwick Gnome I have the ultimate in grab and go rigs. There’s a decent enough punch and volume level for my fortunately sympathetic drummer too. I’m sure there are better sounding rigs, but I doubt it for this price point and purpose. Really impressed. Did the price have any additional charges? The website suggests customs fees are included. I am very interested in getting one to set up a little rig to replace my rumble 40. Took a little longer than predicted to arrive and a few days to dispatch (had to chase a little), but still well worth it and great value.
