1955 Precision Bass (2015)
rare NOS Custom Shop finish (New Old Stock) if you don't like relics this is for you!
Matched headstock / Silver & gold sparkle, very similar do Adam Clayton model, just with the earlier features.

The bass was used for photo session. All case candy untouched, it even has original strings on it.
So, the condition is "NEW" with maybe one ding on the case somehwere (still has all the hang tags)

Insured shipping to EU/UK would be around £50 (double boxed).

Need to fund new car, so I am listing a lot of my equipment for sale - (vintage B15N/SVT/V4B Ampegs, 64 & 65 Pbasses)

Almost 50 years, and still rocking !
Low action, truss rod is working, neck is straight.

Beautiful Sunburst finish, with black pickguard and great mojo with the ashtray on the bridge.

First year of made from Fernandes...

Tone is really nice, warm and punchy. 38mm on the bone nut, like a jazz bass.

If you're wondering about the tunning pegs, they are perfectly working.

For Sale is my lovely 1969 P-bass with original pick up covers. Weighs 8.3lbs according to the kitchen scales.
Nicely 'roadworn' sunburst body with rosewood neck. The neck is B width, which is perfect for me. The tort scratchguard is slightly warped as seen in the pictures.
The pickups are not original but have certainly been there for a long time. It is currently strung with flats and sounds as it should (to me). As far as I know, everything else is original (I will remove the straplocks and replace the original strapbuttons).
There is an issue with the neck in that there was a bend which killed the A string octave d note (17th fret) when I bought it, the bass was taken to Andy Crockett in Canterbury who set it up and now it plays nicely. Please note there is still a slight bend in the neck of which I have tried to capture as best as possible. I will add some sound files shortly to let you hear the bass and include the d note.
I can do some internal pics if need be or a serious buyer could come down for a cuppa, a play and take a look internally with me. Although the neck now plays fine, it does still have a slight bend. With this in mind and the non original pickup, I will price to sell at £2500 (Happy to take advice via PM), but cant go any lower. I can meet within a reasonable distance, prefer not to post and am keen for the buyer to try and inspect first.
Reason for sale: unfortunately I am separating from my wife, I now need some quick money to support moving costs.
