For sale 2019 Sandberg California Superlight TM4. Under 7 lb in weight. This is the earlier version with cedar body. Bought new last May. Excellent condition, one small mark to side of body was there from new. Comes with Sandberg gigbag. Can supply generic abs moulded hard case for shipping. Currently strung with elixirs.
I have changed the scratchplate to a genuine Sandberg tort version
The time has come for the reluctant sale of my Warwick Bass.
I've owned it from new. Purchased in 2002, it was built in November 2001 (I used the Warwick serial number search...).
Thumb BO, 5-string
Natural Oil finish
Made in Germany
It really is a beautiful instrument; plays and sounds amazing.
Quality from Warwick as always.
It has been a great companion for all of these years, unfortunately only gigged it a few times. Sounded epic with my old Eden rig!
I'm not playing much anymore so really needs to get a new lease of life in some new hands.
It's in great condition. There are a few light marks (I've tried to highlight in on of the photos) but nothing major. I changed the bridge many years ago to allow for the use of other manufacturers strings. The original bridge is included. I recently put on some DR Lo-Rider strings. All of the other original tools and documents are also included, as is the gigbag (the zip is a bit knackered but works) plus a hardcase.
I can send via courier or collection (with social distancing) from Epsom, Surrey.
PRICE DROP: £850
Selling this wonderful Sandberg California 2 TM4 as I am not using it much (spending more time with a Sandberg California TT4 Fretless).
It has seen mainly home and practice room use and is in excellent condition. There are just a few very minor scratches which can be seen in the pictures below. It sounds excellent and can go from jazz bass to MM tones very easily. The preamp is natural-sounding and can be bypassed by via an onboard switch. Comes with a high quality Sandberg padded gigbag.
Collection in Hackney, London or shipment at buyer's expense. Thanks for looking.
Neck: 6 bolted / canadian hardrock maple
Fretboard: 22 frets, Rosewood

Used Sandberg TT5 in 9/10 condition!
This bass is really light and punchy. Just had a fresh set of strings on. Comes with the Sandberg gigbag.
This is my last bass, but sadly finances are not good so I need to find some cash from somewhere and not much else is moving in this current climate. With that in mind I would be interested in trades as long as I’m still getting a decent amount of cash from the deal (so no swaps etc) thinking along the lines squires etc.
Sandberg Custom Ken Taylor
Bought from Neil Murray on this forum as a bass to get back into playing with. Its genuinely excellent but I am moving to a P bass as it will suit my current bands more and it is the sound I hear in my head for bass lines.
Currently strung with EB Cobalts and it sounds brilliant. Would like get back what I paid for it at 795. Not interested in trades as I have my eye on a bass already. Would cost considerably more to get one specced this well from Sandberg.

"I had this built to my specifications, from the choices on the Sandberg website. Home use only. There are plenty of small dings and marks, which is Sandberg’s interpretation of ’soft aged finish’, which wasn’t what I was expecting - I would preferred either more obvious relicing or a perfect finish.
Of course a great sounding bass, enhanced by the high-quality Demeter preamp.
Basic Ken Taylor model
Body: European ash (I think)
Top: Imbuia with matched headstock
Soft aged finish
2 Sandberg powerhumbuckers, black metal covers, split coil on bridge pickup
Electronics: Demeter BEQP-1 Bass EQ Preamplifier - active balance control which mixes two pickups and provides active equalisation for treble, middle and bass. The treble and bass are both shelving controls with 14dB of boost and cut @ 6dB per octave. The middle control is a peak control with plus and minus 12dB of cut and boost @ 6dB per octave.
