multi pedal psu

I'm looking for a multi-pedal power supply, either in the form of a butterfly chain or a power unit with seperate outputs.

Any ideas on ones you lot would rate as websites, as you know, all tell me they're the best.

I saw this...
http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/pedal-power/

and it looks very fancy plus other reviews say it's damn good so have any of you lot tried one out?

Thanks.

£17 and more power than you're ever likely to need (1.33A - about half as much as the Diago). That's what I use anyway, and it works so I guess it's good.

Thanks.

Does it produce any excess hum or anything? I imagine you would've said if it did but i just thought i'd ask

Absolutely none that I've experienced - "Creates no noise or mains hum"

Best value for money effects daisy chain adapter IMO.

Thanks, sounds good to me.

And it's cheaper than buying 4 psu units.

I've got one of these and it's brilliant, from what i've heard it's essentially the same as the diago. It'll power 1.5amps with no hum, which is at least a dozen regular pedals, but the daisy chain lead is only boss type 9v, so they won't power eveything

That looks pretty good - add £2 for a mains lead though. Does it come with the daisy chain?

Unfortunately it doesn't come with a daisychain, they sell them for £2.50, but to be honest i'd get something better, it's the one gripe i have with it, the connectors don't flex very well, which gets very very annoying if you have pedals with the power jack on the side, and there isn't a lot of wire between them,, but the actualy supply is fantastic
Digital delays can take up 2-300ma, multi effects can be 500+, I used to gig with 25 pedals including a zoom b2.1u and a digital delay. I could run them all off two Boss adaptors, but it was extremely noisy. When I got my Godlyke PSU it solved all that.
I’d always gig with a separate PSU for multi-effects pedals – I used to gig with my XT Live and 4 other pedals, but the XT Live used to be powered from its own dedicated PSU. My limit for pedals is about 11 or 12 cos I wouldn’t be able to physically fit any more on my board and I don’t want a bigger board cos it can get a bit ridiculous ;)

I didn’t know digital delays are so power hungry though :P

Just checked the power consumption for my DigiTech Synth Wah – 300mA :) Crikey…

i just realised<Br>is it possible to stick a daisy chain lead onto a boss adapter?<BR><BR>would that work for powering lots of pedals (to be exact 3, Guyatone EQ, Digitech X-series Flanger, Boss RC-20XL)<BR><BR>(i just saw someone said they powered loads of pedals from just 2 adapters so...)

Yeah that would work but it depends on the power output of the adapter and the total power consumption of the pedals that it's going to be powering (measured in milliamps – mA). Obviously the output of the adapter has to be greater than the consumption of the pedals.

+1

both me and my guitarist have one of these, brilliant.

and yes, it is effectively identical to the diago.

I've just ordered one of Johnny Shredfreak's 1.5 amp jobs. Previously I was using the 6 connecter one from Effect Power Supplies, but I left it a jam night the other week and it ain't been seen since. Absolutely nothing wrong with the EPS one that I could find, but I thought I'd go for the JS one this time since it has a bit more oomph and I needed to order some patch cables anyway.
