My back isn't getting any better so I am selling one of my Trace Elliot heads in favour of a more lightweight alternative.
I believe this is the AH-300 with the GP12 SMX preamp. I bought it on here a few years ago and it has been my main gigging amp for that time. Monster of a head, as loud as anything you'll want and this amp is bursting with heft because of the proper Trace Elliot watts (etc etc). I have never had the master above 3 even when used on its own without pa support. All the usual superlatives, in fact, especially when it comes to how loud it is. Comes with nice long kettle lead and one of obbm's lorry towing jack to right angle speakon cab leads. Mounted into a Gator ABS rack case and, with the leads tucked neatly inside, weighs in at a perfectly reasonable 13.1kg. I found it made a decently balanced carry in with this in one hand and my Barefaced Supercompact in the other. Such a shame my back is no longer perfectly reasonable. Did I say it was loud?
Price is £150 firm collected from Benfleet in Essex, could possibly meet up or deliver for fuel costs within a reasonable radius of Benfleet. But I am not prepared to courier this so please don't ask.
I've not had this amp long, and whilst it's bloody fantastic, it's not quite for me. It's in superb condition, and comes with a thickly padded vinyl Hotcovers cover (not originally for this combo, but fits pretty well).
Most people seem to know all about these anyway, but for those who don't, it's a seriously good sounding, loud combo, that belies its compact and lightweight form.
500w class D amplifier section (350w standalone without an 8 ohm ext. Cab), 2x10" custom designed eminence drivers and a switchable horn, eq pre-shapes, drive channel (footswitchable), 4 band eq section, and all the ins and outs you might need.
I have to say, I've been absolutely staggered by the quality of sound and volume that this thing produces! Incredible bottom end for a combo this size (beats the pants off the Markbass 2x10 combo I used to have), and ample volume for the vast majority of pub /club /function gigs. Our rock covers band is pretty damn loud, both guitarists have VERY loud valve amps, and I don't think I got the volume above halfway on the two gigs I used it on! Couple it up to another cab, and you've got a full 500w!
I'm in Hereford, which isn't known for its great transport links, but I'm happy to meet within a reasonable distance. I'd prefer not to ship as it'll be a PITA to package, but it's not entirely out of the question. Will be in London area on Saturday 21st for the bass show if that helps anyone.
Thanks for looking, and any questions, please get in touch. 😊👍

I've not been active on here in a while, but my old feedback thread is here:
Here Im selling my lovely Barefaced 2x10, 4Ohm (400W, maximum 800W), Silver cloth grill and only 13kg!!!!!!
Also comes with fitted Roqsolid Barefaced cover.
This cab has served me really well in the 8 months I've had it but Im looking to go back to my old Markbass Combo rig.
Super loud and an incredible amount of headroom (i've never even gotten close to pushing this thing hard). The tone is round and warm and voiced in a vintage style however this cab handles slap stuff and distorted tones very well too.
This is not the version with switchable 12/4Ohm.
Collection in London please
