Go to Lancaster Audio, they do have a Cab sim loader and a couple of free cab sims and if you are interested they have some at a very good price.

Here's the link to their free plugin:

https://lancasteraudio.com/pulse/

Here's the link to their paid cab sims:

https://lancasteraudio.com/product-category/impulse-responses/bass-cabs/

There are other free cab sims in the web but they are not of the quality of these but you can get great results nonetheless.

I have two more suggestions

Slap Passion (Not only for slap bass): This one needs a cab sim but sounds great too

http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Slap_Passion&id=2175

VeeBass: This one is another favourite, only drawback it is only 32bits but has it's only bass cab sim (can be turned off)

http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=Vee_Bass_Amp&id=2255

Last but not least you could try this one GK AMPLIFICATION 2 LE

How do I find if I have an I lok account ? I don’t get emails and selling spam from them , but I could have previously signed up chasing free software :D

Register for a new account, then when entering your email address it will flag as already in use (if you have signed up previously).

:D

OMG that was painful , and it only goes to scare me even more for when I will need to upgrade my computer!

No need, just remember prior to upgrade to go to iLok and deactivate your licenses. Then re-install iLok in your new machine and re-activate the licenses.

It was the whole process of download , sign up here , log in there, activate here, and then trying to get reaper to find it , then seemed like going back over it again

One day I will need to upgrade the machine and will somehow have to reinstall loads of vst’s and stuff , tracks and the like and I am just dreading it :o

Guys & ladies!!

Another heads up!

Harrison MixBus Ava Deeser for just £9. The AVA series is simply great.

https://harrisonconsolesstore.onfastspring.com/ava-ds-offer-2?mc_cid=5f4a426d9b&mc_eid=c1f7210c46

BTW if you subscribe to the Wave Newsletter they are giving away a secret plugin on Black Friday for FREE!! They do this every year, last year they gave away Sibila (Deeser) which goes for $40.

I'll keep you posted for more bargains.

Managed to get EZDrummer for shy of £60. Have spent three minutes with it and it seems like a whole lot of very effective fun. It was from PluginBoutique.

You can't go wrong with plugin boutique, if I was you I would get EZ Keys Dream Machines too, it is going for £22 right now.

There used to be a funny workaround using plugin boutique where you buy one EZkeys expansion on PB, but the serial number covered you for ANY EZKeys expansion, which you selected on registration in the Toontrack product manager. I think the loophole may be be closed now though... It's how I got Cinematic grand (and another of my EZKeys expansions) for a steal shortly after it was released...
