Dunlop strings

I’ve got a set of Dunlop flats in the same gauge on my ‘covers band’ bass and they’re great. Had them for a couple of years now and I’m still loving them.

I’ve had super brights before though, and they were great too.

I think at the next string change, it could be flats for my P!!

LOVE superbrights. I have the Nickel set on my MTD Super 5 - the feel & tension is perfect for me. Got a set of Dunlop Flats on my 5 string Sandberg P which I’ve had on for a while and am really enjoying too, though I may switch that over to Superbrights too. We’ll see...

I like the tone of the Superbrights and the range of heavy gauges available (I downtune to drop C# most of the time) but I couldn't get on with the low tension.  Certainly good sounding strings for not a lot of cash, all the same.

What do you use for a c# tuning mate? I get uncomfortable with drop d! 😆
