MoonBassAlpha
Saw Jason Moran last night at Funchal Jazz festival (Madeira) The bass player was Tarus Mateen, playing a Marco bajo acoustico. http://www.marcoguitarsbass.com/index_archivos/Page381.htm Probably the most double bass sounding guitar I've heard, and double bass style action, from what I could see. Anyone come across these before? Btw, they followed Dave Holland, with Chris Potter, which was super, too.
Silvia Bluejay
They are on Basschat! They were also at Winter NAMM, but I managed to miss them altogether...
Hellzero
Didn't know the Marco basses. That said have you been to that scary outside 300 meters dive glass elevator and try the unscary "monte sledge" ? And what about that plane landing or take-off on one of the shortest runaway (well bearing it's name) in the world ? Nice and quiet place to be, loved it when I was there for a week seminar. I think they are a different Marco Bass. http://marcobassguitars.com/models/
Silvia Bluejay
😮 Christ, you're correct - way to go choosing website/company names that are so easily confused with each other!

Ha, I did the toboggan ride the first time I came here, yes, unscary, but sort of fun. Not done the elevator thing, I wouldn't get the Mrs near that, she was bad enough on the cable car! We come here a lot as it is so relaxing and beautiful. The jazz has been good too, proper hard hitting stuff, not the watered down populist stuff you get at some festivals.
