I am so far off being one of the forum's Fender experts, but I'm pretty sure that isn't a pre CBS Precision logo. Anyone verify or correct this?

It is indeed a CBS logo and not one from earlier. But the seller says these are CBS era, 1960s strings. So it is all above board.

CBS era not pre-CBS.

Still, I think I'll stick with my D'addarios thanks

Imagine spending £250 on a set of strings and then finding that one breaks when you restring because they are so old. Or even worse, you make make a mistake cutting them to length and find they are too short. What a load of bollocks!
