As per title, final inspection Oct 2011 American Jazz Deluxe first bought in 2012.
Link to specs will be attached (unfortunately I don't have the cable or strap locks).
Very good condition with a few tiny dints my crap photography skills can't pick up. The case has some white paint marks and slight scuffs but is in excellent condition.

Lovely satin neck, sort of a 70's Jazz, but with passive/active, stealth A string retainer, graphite rods and 18 volt pre amp.
Weight 9lb 6oz, normal sort of jazz weight really.
Bad time to sell as they are getting replaced by the Elite in March, so the last few available are reduced a bit.

I WOULD LIKE to trade, ideally for a USA 75 reissue, but happy to chat about other possibles.
Sale would be £950 collected or £990 INSURED courier in UK.
Photo no 7 looks like it has a scratch, it's just the light, no scratch.

Any trial in Wigan would be great. Feedback at bottom of post. Sorry about the photos,
cheers,
Karl.

IMPORTANT.
Following is my reply to a PM received last night.

"Thanks for your mail Orlen.
I bought the bass for about £1100 couple of years back.

YOU are bang on right! In all that time I have never noticed, but those pups DON'T have N3 on them, thanks for spotting it and saving me possible grief later on!.

Now, all the electrics work exactly as they should, both passive and active, so I'm guessing the originally owner had these installed professionally.

I will strip it down at the weekend and try to find out what the pups are. I had 8 offers of trades on Facebook yesterday, from a Rick to a Conklin 7 string. Thankfully none of them were quite right.

Thanks again, Karl. "

Hiya Tom, hope you are on the mend me owd fruit bat :)

This bass SHOULD be equipped with Fender N3 noiseless pick ups. Those pups have N3 written on them (link)

I was pm'd last night pointing out these pups haven't got N3 on the covers. In 2 or 3 years it never occurred, I honestly had never noticed.
I will take it to bits this weekend and take some photos.

That's really kind Paul, thank you :)

I've had a look under the hood and I'm still in the dark :( , so I'm going to start a thread in the gear section asking for advice, meanwhile anybody like to chip in?

I had one of these from the very same year. The PUs are correct. They have the date handwritten on them. They have a split coil, like a P pu. In my case, the N3 letter printed on the pu cover started to disappear due to grazing. Perhaps that's what happened here.

By the way, I swapped the N3s for a Jess Loureiro handmade pickups in the end. I was trying to find the classic passive JB. But that's another story.

Hope I have been of any help

Either price, I still think, even as it is, it's a good trade against something like an American 75 RI Jazz.
