Dazed Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I've been reading about these out of production basses from the early 90's. The build seems good with EMG made pickups. Has anyone played one or got one? Searched YouTube but not much coming up, and what does isn't great quality. I'm interested in how they sound and play, particularly the 6ers. Sound great and really should have taken off but they were competing in a crowded market. The 6 strings had wide spacing for the time which I would have loved. I know this doesn't really narrow down the field much (*coughs Aria Fender Warwick*) but they seemed to be an early candidate for good quality production 6ers... Not sure I ever saw a 4 or 5? Never seen one in real life but I do know Heartfields were Fujigen-built basses - which probably explains the resemblance to Ibanez Soundgears. There were 4/5/6 version neck through (C)ustom with fancy tops (their description) and the standard version which was a bolt on and alder body.
