Thinning the herd as i need some rather specific gear for a new gig.

First up a fretless Jazz in rather fetching Stealth colour scheme (i.e., all black). Fender MIM '70s RI body, electrics and hardware, Allparts Jazz neck with ebony board. The neck is especially nice and was my main FL neck until I recently had a custom Warmoth FL neck built to my specs. The body has been well played and has a few dinks, blemishes etc. The bridge and back PUP have a few spots of rusts also. Having said this, the MIM PUPs/circuit are pretty decent - in fact to my ear surprisingly so - and do a really decent job. In short, the bass plays very very nicely, neck and body work very well together to produce some lovely fretless tone with good sustain. I'm happy to say this is pretty much as good as all but the best Fender MIJ/MIAs so at £275 this is a real bargain. As with all my deals, you don't like the bass, you get your money back. You will need new strings, those on this bass are very played in! I will of course add a string tree also!

Second up, the bass I always wanted but sadly don't have a ZZ Top tribute act to play it in. I will say nothing more than with Warmoth top quality neck and body, SD Antiquity SC Precision PUP (not the SCPB-1 in the photo below), and very decent tuners and bridge, this bass rocks and is also a bargain given how much it would cost to order the parts. It's a great bass for a 3-piece, really fills in the tone. Looks like the dogs danglies also :) I thought I had a few more pics of this, I'll try to take some more tomorrow. £425, again a bit of a steal and again you get your cash back if you don't like it.

Hey Bigwan, it is a man's P width! In fact, it's a baseball bat in real terms, but a lovely neck to play if you like big necks.

Hiya JA, yes, dots on the lines so to speak (frustratingly not the case with the Warmoth neck I had built, which I'm not overly happy about, although as it's a lined neck it's not the end of the world, just looks a bit crap)!

Warmoth is approx. 8.25 lbs, Jazz is approx. 9.25 lbs (both weighed on bathroom scales). Warmoth is surprisingly light to be honest, i.e., to me it looks like it should weigh a lot more!

I'll probably withdraw both of these and keep them if they don't sell by this evening as I need to pay for quite a lot of gear tomorrow morning. Cash offers welcome in the meantime.

Thought I might raise a bit of quick cash with these two but was clearly wrong so, as they;re both rather nice and I've just emptied my PayPal account, think I'll keep them a while longer :) Thanks for the interest folks
