The Admiral
Found on FB - a slowed down version. A bit too much in the way of Eddie Van Halen histrionics from the guitar IMHO, but other than that, very nice. Sound to video sync is out on my internet connection, but it's a hotel's steam powered wifi. https://www.facebook.com/TheTalentPartyBand/videos/10153871443454852/

JTUK
Would help if I logged into FB.. I don't mind that version but a lot of bands couldn't get away with carrying that version off, and on those terms it is a waste of the song. Punters will want the uptempo version to dance.to..so for the purpose of the song and where you would do it, it would be like throwing away one of your stand out tunes... maybe start with this version and end as normal..best of both worlds. Needs thinking about you want to achieve from the song...
Paul S
I really like it. Great groove, good interpretation, nice playing all round.
lowdown
I like their take on the tune, it's very good. Another (very) good version that is very well played, with some serious horn writing. Great arrangement all round and it opens up towards the end. http://youtu.be/QRuM2rk2miQ
JTUK
I liked that version better...as it kept the pace it needs..
Acesn8s
Both versions spoke to me. They both elevated my mood. The musicians put the song first, playing as one tight unit, sans any private contractors.
leschirons
Not for me, but interesting. Totally changing a song is fine but they haven't done the song any favours. They're obviously a good band but it's like doing a jazzy version of Whole lotta love. You completely lose what the song sets out to do. Thanks for posting though.
