KevB Posted March 19, 2015 Share Posted March 19, 2015 I never got round to measuring it but the neck width on my (4 string) precision deluxe (USA 2003 model) was narrower than a standard p but wider than a jazz (I have 1 each of these also for comparison) and I thought it was an excellent compromise. I'm the opposite I have a J neck on my precision that is being swapped for a P neck, because I don't find the J neck comfortable anymore!
