Some nice new Ibanez basses at NAMM

The Ibanez Adam Nitti Signature (ANB1006) impressed me the most and it looks awesome but the $6,999 retail price puts it way out of my range. Adam Nitti mentioned on Facebook that there will eventually be a budget model.

There are also 2 sweet looking 6-string P/J configured Soundgears in the lineup.

Not to mention even a nice GSR model.

*gulp* so much for being happy with what I've got!

That brownburst with the Nordys... disgustingly appealing.

Pretty much.

I've just been comparing the US and Uk Ibanez sites and once again we seem to lose out.

Regards the Talman. More colours in the US, only black and burst here. And in the US there is the Talman 300 model which has a double J pickup at the bridge.

I was going to maybe save up to get one of the higher end SR basses but as they only have the wood finishes available in Europe I've gone for something completely different and not Ibanez.

Once again! It's not just basses, either - there's a much smaller range of hardware and other bass-related periphery stuff like paint, tools, pickguards, on and on it goes. Whenever I search eBay for something - a shirt, a wig, a girdle, whatever - the ones that I like are inevitably Stateside. Yes I know, why don't I go and live in Russia if I like it so much, yadda. Thp. :P

Yep, spares and parts in the UK is, if you can find it, extremely expensive and that's if you can find what you want at all.

See you in Russia :D

The Talman bass has arrived at Music Productiv (a German dealer if you're not familiar) at a ridiculously inexpensive £147. It's not available in any of the nice colours though - just black and 'boreburst'. So near but so far.
