Jono Bolton Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 I have a Peavey Foundation bass and the original neck screws were rusted pretty badly and I couldn't get them clean, so I replaced them with a set from Axes R Us. The new screws though are standard Fender-style, and are slightly thinner than the original ones. The neck fits pretty tight in the pocket but I can still wiggle the neck slightly. Where could I buy screws that are thicker than than the Fender-types I've got? I stupidly binned the originals. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[/quote] I did think about it, but I don't have the necessary tools to do it myself, and taking it to a tech would be both costly and time consuming. I use the Peavey on a weekly basis for my band so new screws for the neck would be the most cost effective and time efficient solution. There was a Foundation neck plate and screw set on eBay recently but someone bought it before I got paid, such is my luck!
