bgmttt Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) This is the sound of the bass, recorded with pocket recorder (Tascam GT-R1): http://soundcloud.com/bgmttt/75-ri You can compare it with my 1962 Fender Jazz: https://soundcloud.c...gmttt/1962-jazz The strings of the Japanese Jazz are around 2 y.o, the strings of the 1962 are newer. bgmttt Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Sure! If you have Bergantino 112 or old (before 1985) Japanese P or cheep American Standard P please pm me.
Bassassin Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Not sure many would agree that standard MIJ / CIJ hardware is"crappy" - but that's a beautiful bass, tastefully hotrodded. GLWTS! Jon.
bgmttt Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Same bass, recorded in studio: https://soundcloud.com/bgmttt/dont-tell-me
timmchale2009 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Adore it but alas I have nothing you would want haha.
bgmttt Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 If anyone buy the bass, but not happy with it, I'll accept the bass back to me no questions asked. I'll refund the money minus the cost of shipping, which is around £40.
fingerz Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I really recommend checking out this bass. I have one alongside a lot of more 'desirable' gear, (rosewood board), and it's still my favourite bass. What's cool about these Japanese 75 reissues, is that they have 60's style pick up spacing. Meaning the rear pick up has more of a jaco growl/warmth rather than a thin/harsh sound. It really is the best of both worlds IMO. Bump for a gem of a bass. Good luck with the sale.
bgmttt Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Thanks mate! This bass is really good one...!
