SOLD!

Here is my Fender Jazz Bass 75 Japanese Reissue.

Bought brand new from Japan а couple years ago.
Japanese Fenders are famous for their high quality of wood and craftmanship, but crappy hardware.

So, this bass is heavily upgraded:
The tuners are Hipshot HB2 (list price £104.00). No extra holes on the neck. Best tuners ever!!!
The bridge is Hipshot Vintage (list price £65.00). No extra holes.
The pickups are Delano JMVC 4 FE/M2 (list price £190.00).
The knobs are original Fender USA
The pots are CTS.
The pickguard is high quality 4 ply tortoise made in Japan. The original pickguard was white.

Over £400 spent on upgrades!

I don't have the original parts: my little son throw them in the garbage by mistake.

Ash body, maple neck. The neck is strait as arrow, the truss rod work well (i never adjusted it after initial setup - very solid neck!). Extremely comfortable neck profile- a real joy to play.
The overall cosmetic condition is 9/10 - has minor scratches, but nothing serious.

Sound great. Delanos are strong and punchy.

Postage to Europe included!

If you have questions or need some info please ask.

Thanks for looking!

This is the sound of the bass, recorded with pocket recorder (Tascam GT-R1):

You can compare it with my 1962 Fender Jazz:

The strings of the Japanese Jazz are around 2 y.o, the strings of the 1962 are newer.

I really recommend checking out this bass. I have one alongside a lot of more 'desirable' gear, (rosewood board), and it's still my favourite bass.

What's cool about these Japanese 75 reissues, is that they have 60's style pick up spacing. Meaning the rear pick up has more of a jaco growl/warmth rather than a thin/harsh sound. It really is the best of both worlds IMO.

Bump for a gem of a bass. Good luck with the sale.
