This is the guitar I said I'd never part with. Unfortunately, heading off to university and having to cull the herd has left me with no choice but to sell this fine example of Sheldon's work. On the bright side i've replaced 2 Afterburners with one Lee Sklar signature.

This bass is an absolutely tremendous gigging bass, having used it at gigs all over. It's incredibly light weight at 7lbs 10oz yet has incredible sustain and resonance. The finish is beautiful and makes you want to touch it! Similarly the neck profile is great and one of the most comfortable basses I've ever played, and as ever, the tension is even and makes playing more consistent across the 4 strings. It also has a hipshot D-tuner on the E allowing for a great low tuned experience with the 36.25 inch scale on the bottom string.

This is probably one of the most 'famous' (kinda!) Dingwalls in the UK, this very example sitting atop Bass Direct's Dingwall page, on the banner, and having been featured and reviewed in BGM. I am happy to include the copy of the magazine with the review of this bass if you do not have it already.

It's in great condition with a couple of very minor marks which aren't visible with this finish and take a lot of looking for! No chips. I did suggest colouring in any damage to the bass, I never actually got around to such practice as it was never necessary, so all original and no cover ups with this one. Most obvious is a bit of wear on the pickup covers where the Dingwall logo is fading a bit, but to be expected.

Based in Maidenhead, betwixt Reading and Slough, but moving to Bath on the 19th if that helps anyone. Similarly shipping can be done but collection is preferred.

Thank you for looking!

Cash preferred. However, Yamahas of the upper end of their range would be considered, as would other Dingwalls, Warwick Starbasses (all varieties) and great micro heads.

An unlikely list, I must confess, but thats about all I'd be interested as I'm very happy with what I've got.
