NBD: Sandberg Hardcore aged TM5

It's lovely!

I do have a set of Hipshot Ultralight tuners coming for it though as it's a tiny bit heavy.

I took a tuner off to weigh it and then compared with Hipshot and it will save me just over 1/2 lb in total. That's a hell of a lot to save - especially when it's on the end of the neck!

They should be here tomorrow. I'll need to dirty them up a bit!

I have to fess that I've thought Sandbergs to be completely gorgeous instruments since first coming across them. Finally set aside my sensible instincts and got myself an Ash / Maple Sandberg California TM4 a short while back and totally loving it - the Delano pick ups are wonderfully smooth, and the sound of the bass amazing, when combined with any decent amp & cab.
