It has sensors under every fret position which results in latency free midi signal. For me it opened up another level of sensing what I'm doing on the bass guitar. I ran the midi signal from the bass through Moog little phatty for synth bass sounds followed by DSI tetra for arpeggiators + regular bass sound through Mesa.
