Hey guys,

I LOVE the bassline on this track and I really want to learn it, but it's a bit quick and intricate for me to pick out playing along.just wondered if anyone's come across any transcriptions or tabs for it?

Thanks!

Francis Hylton is the man! My favourite Incognito bassist. Some of his best work is on Surreal.

Awesome isn't he! Surreal is such a good album. I definitely seem to prefer their newer stuff, Tales From The Beach is great too.

This bass cover on youtube may help if you haven't seen it already. Or I'd use something like 'transcribe' to slow the track down (http://www.seventhstring.com/).

Thanks very much man, I'll look into that "transcribe". I tried playing along with that traack but just couldn't see where his fingers were going easily enough!

I've seen some Incognito transcriptions, but it only seems to be the older stuff.....

The bass and drums on this track are programmed by Richard Bull.

"Surreal’s penultimate track, “The Way You Love,” is collaboration with my dear friend and Incognito contributor Richard Bull, and as can be expected, his drum grooves and his bass lines dominate the proceedings, creating a muscular platform for the unison vocals to dance on." - Bluey
