Hey Freddy,

Welcome and all that, but you're in a lot of trouble!
Before you know it, GAS wil rear its ugly head, and you'll be discussing whether a £2,000 [s]head[/s] amplifier! is good enough.
I think it's best to send around the hat right away.
;)

Enjoy!

best,
bert

I fully expect a visit from my bank manager wielding a shotgun very soon.

Welcome in :)

I hadn't realised God was such a fan of rain :)

But then I guess he's responsible for dropping so much of it on you so maybe he does prefer it a milder sunny climate :). :)

Hello all. I am Freddy, bass player/singist and word-wrangler from obscure Oxford band Dirty Sweet Lies.

Currently playing a MIM Jazz into a totally unsuitable Carlsbro guitar head.

Glad to make your aquaintance.

I've heard of Dirty Sweet Lies but I can't remember where! Then again I work in Oxford.

Pah! The insult! You're confusing us with Lancashire, which might as well be Mordor

What is it with Oxfordshire vs Yorkshire?? This is the third forum I have joined where this is apparent! Is there an ungerground war I aint aware of?

I do remember York City have an old rivalry with Oxford - the battle of leafy university towns, eh? :)
