The 4 band pre amp gives you a vast array of options for your sound (IMO the best sounding MM bass) the only reason I'm selling is because of my thumbing style I keep catching the neck pickup when I pull the strings. The bass comes with its MM Bongo case. Those pickups and that pre are the best combination I've heard in a long time, especially considering the basses are about £1500 new and not £3000.
