Due to my recent purchase of the Sandberg (Cheers again Stephen), one of my current stable needs to go.

Hence the following is for sale:

A Mexican Fender Jazz.. It is a 2004 model I think, but it was " as new with tags" when I purchased it from here about 4 or 5 years ago, its previous owner stated that it had been imported from Samash USA. It does have "Samash" stamped on the box. It also has various tags and documents which are still in the box if I remember correctly. It even has the Fender bumper sticker.

The bass will be supplied in its original box, with the original white scratchplate provided as a spare.

The ashtrays are genuine custom shop, not cheap copys. I added them, they were not initially on the bass when new.
The Schaller straplocks in the images have been replaced with the original stock Fender ones.

It has been gigged, so it is not in showroom condition. However, the only significant damage has been photographed and presented below.

The ding is on the edge of the bass, I think it is in the polyester coating only, not the wood. There is also a smaller ding on the same edge which I hope you can see on the close up image.

There is also two screw holes where the bridge ashtay has been attatched.

I would say it is in nice condition for its age. But please dont expect it to be mint. It has been a working bass.

It sounds really nice when played acoustically, and it has plenty of Jazz bass character when amplified.

Of course you can feel free to pop along and try it.

Looking for £260+£20 for courier.

Feel free to ask questions and stuff..

It's not priced to make a profit, I just want to pass it on for what it is worth.

Buy it for £280 , try it for £280, if you want to sell it on, you can sell it for £280, you will have lost nothing.

A no risk bass purchase. :)

Thank you T-Bird. :)

Right price drop to £260 + £20 Courier?

Or £260 collected, or £260 and fettle your own courier?

Thats cheaper than Gumtree for my online basschat buddies..

Please assist, Mrs Dandy has got her eye on a new frock.
