Cant change the original price now but the new price is £275, thanks.
Hi relisted as I let the advert slip when the fees came in and wasn't too fussed at the time but I dont play it live anymore as I really am a five string player these days.

[b]Full size open tuner to replace the stock smaller ones Squires of this type had,[/b]
[b]Fret edges have been dressed into a nicely rounded edge rosewood finger board,[/b]

This bass plays and sounds brilliant, done loads of gigs with it over about three or four years and never missed a beat, the parts alone are worth more than my asking price and the total build cost without any labour fees was around £500. It has a few light swirls and soft dinks but nothing major.

Ideally I would like either cash on collection or meet half way from Stafford depending on the deal/distance.

Any questions or specific pics please ask as I know I will have forgotten something :)

Nice bass Pete. I could do with a nice Jazz to replace my redundant Precision.......which coincidently enough also used to be yours (tho there's not much of the original bass left). I'll have to get around to selling it at some point to fund the double pup temptation.

Well its a tricky bass to put a price on, I was just having a play on it actually. It cost me nearly double the advert price to build it but I know that is neither here nor there, on the other hand I would rather keep it as a good (excellent) jam night bass or rough pub gig bass, the only reason I am selling it is because I am having a clear out of 5 string basses. If I sold the bits one at a time I think I would be in the £200+ region (have you seen the price and UK availability of genuine Leo Quan Badass bridges?)

First week gone by now, few nice trade offers but no cash so I am reducing it down a little bit, not going much lower though as it's worth that in bits,I don't want to sell it and see it in parts on Ebay at a profit!

£275 or the first £250 in cash collected from my front door!
