jackers Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) So he is saying it's a fender custom shop but doesn't show the certificate, (also I don't think custom shop orders had the S-1 system did they?), and saying he bought it from denmark street but the location is marked as China....smells very iffy to me. Also, a zero feedback seller doesn't help matters. I would say that, at best, it's an early 2000s US Fender, and at worst it's a Chinese copy with a Fender sticker. It's a Fender (possibly) which he ordered from a shop; he actually doesn't say that it is a CS and at present it is £82... that sounds like a bargain atm! [/quote]Well, what happened was that in 2006, 3 young Chinese friends visited London and all went into a shop and ordered identical basses. Then they all decided to sell them at the same time.
