5. Also want to give positive feedback for Fryer. 5 stars!!! Bought a Hagstrom Viking bass from him and not only was it a bargain and in perfect nick, he had also built a custom hardcase for it :-) Fast delivery and brilliantly packaged. Total gent.
6. Yeah cheers Johnny, I have Tried a few Oranges with guitar and bass the Thunderverb 200 was amazing for both I thought, but that's a like over a grand and a half. I was hoping maybe this would be a cheaper possibility, I mean I know it's only 100 watts which aint a lot for a bass but I have only ever had 100 watt bass amps and when playing live have always been D.I'd so I thought it could be a possibility.
7. Howdy folks, I was just wondering if anyone had tried one of these with a bass through a bass cab? I'm just interested. Or conversely I suppose has anyone tried an OB1 with a guitar, I'm sure that would sound fine.
8. Hey John , No o have not. I'll check there just now. Thanks.
9. Howdy everyone, I want to make a scratchplate for a mates 40th birthday present but i want it to be a surprise. Does anyone have a scale template or would anyone be kind enough to make a wee scale drawing for me? Its the kind with the 2 precision type pickups (smaller and curvier of course) Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
10. Cheers meddle, There is indeed a tonne of room inside the enclosure.
11. OK man thanks. Thats all a bit beyond me but it sounds like it'd be easy if you know your way around a soldering iron. Now yo find an electronics wiz :-) cheers.
12. Right ok, i dont actually know. Would that be a relatively straight forward job?
13. Howdy folks, I was wondering if someone with a bit more electronics savvy than myself could tell me how feasable these mod ideas are to the pedal. 1 - moving the OD tone and the crossover freq controls (on the underside of the pedal and need a screwdriver to turn) to the side or the top of the pedal and putting normal pots on them so they can be used more easily? 2 - Somehow making the fuzz level (Big main dial that changes colour from green to red) controllable via a volume pedal (and maybe somehow keeping the light effect if at all possible cause its awesome lol) There is a huge ammount of space inside this pedal and from what i can tell the first mod would'nt be too difficult. But the 2nd i have no idea about whatso ever. Gut shot here... 14. Hey folks, I was just wondering if you can use the 3 switches for just the fx ? As in not have to have amp/cab sim on them. I'd like to use it for live situations probably use the compressor and the reverb quite a lot and then sometimes some modulation effects and maybe even the octaver if its any good. I have my dirt covered with external pedals already. Opinions welcome. Cheers
15. Cheers Such, Thats a real shame. I suppose its just personal preference but i almost always like a matching headstock more.
16. Hey folks, Got me a 415 a while ago , it was my first 5 string. It turns out i dont really get on with the extra string. However i really like the bass, look, feel, sound, playability etc i just dont ever find myself using the extra B. I was hoping i would be able to swap for either a 414 or 424 (X) However one of the things i love about the 415 is the matching headstock. Is this something they only did for the 414 or 415? It seems like such a shame. Also if anyone does have any of the above 4 stringers they fancy swapping let me know but this isnt a swap thread. Cheers.
17. Its just for a rough guide for the shape, i can tweak it after the fact. so it would be fine im sure. Thanks again though. I'd really appreciate it if anyone feels like helping me out.
18.
I don't think they ever made a BB415X; there is a BB425X which might not be an exact match!
Hey there, yeah sorry thats what i meant. I think it will fit. They look exactly the same.
19. No one willing to take the scratchplate of their bb414 or 414's and make a scan for me? Come on, Help a bassbrother out . Cheers
20. Hi folks, i just bought a bb415 and i really want to put a scratch plate on it like a bb415x but I cant find anywhere that sells them so i thought i'd have a go at making my own.
