If you log into ebay, go to my ebay select the listing, then edit the listing at the very bottom it should show you the final value fee. jonno1981 Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 I think it's capped at £75 for private sellers, so you don't pay more if your item sells for anything over £750. PaulWarning Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 ebay is a conumdrum, we all know it's a rip off, but you get to the biggest market by selling through them so you will probably get a higher price. I refused to sell my Stingray through them, sold it on here for less but actually got a bit more for it when the fees were taken into consideration, which are nearly £100 on a £700 item Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ezbass Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 The fees used to be quite reasonable and when everyone started to use it they bumped up the fees. I only buy on eBay now because of this. If you're selling musical gear BC all the way I reckon; less hassle, better communications, common ground, all sorts of reasons and all for a little contribution to the BC coffers if you feel so inclined.
