Up for sale is my Custom 5 string GB Spitfire which I have had for a little over a year after buying it off the original owner. The reason I am selling it is because I have just bought a 5 string Marcus Miller bass and need to be realistic about how many basses I need in my life. I am selling this GB Spitfire along with my 4 string Marcus bass here on basschat to fund the new one. It's the same apart from the dots on my bass are on the binding only and not the fretboard. Some specs on the bass below: Satin finished 35" Scale Burl Maple top on an Ash body Bound Birdseye Maple neck with Birdseye Maple fingerboard Loaded with the GB Guitars Bass Processor preamp 3 Band EQ, Volume and Pickup pan knobs. Fret dots on binding only There are a few tiny dents in the lacquer on the heel edge of the bass. These were here when I bought the bass and they do no affect the playability of the instrument. I have also just fitted the bass with new strings. The EQ is versatile and has a bright switch for extra top end. I am looking for £1500 ONO. The bass also comes with a GB Hardcase. I put myself in debt buying this bass because I love it so much but I just can't justify having 2 5 strings in the house at the moment.
