[/quote] Course you will. I've replaced all sorts of bass players over the years and it just takes a little bit of settling in. The only time I've failed is where I replaced a female bass player and was told she had a much nicer arse than me... ...the cheek of it..! Had so much fun again They threw a few more songs at me that weren't on the set list again, but I managed to fudge a bassline together!! Enjoyed playing some songs aswell that I had plotted some interesting basslines to. They have also "trusted" me with the 3 original tracks they do too We need to get in the studio to record them soon, as we want to have CDs for sale at our charity gig. The one early frustration I have is the finishing of the songs, they need a tight finish and they haven't got one for most yet. Also, my hugest thanks and gratitude goes to Discreet who recommended musician earplugs. I have managed to hear what I was playing, hear the band, but I have come home with no tinnitus this week I am definitely going to have to upgrade my amp though!!!! I'm going to have to save hard!!!
